Talk from Jacob Avila

March 14, 2018

This week we were very lucky to have sono-celebrity (and expert) Dr. Jacob Avila, creator of 5min Sono, at our office to give us a few lectures. We learned how to create digital education videos in the modern age, an introduction to nerve blocks, and Jacob's approach to lung ultrasound. We enjoyed learning from Jacob and showing him around Boston!

Please visit his website, for some fantastic US education videos!

One of our fellows, Tommy Heyne, took us on a tour of the MFA that focused specifically on Medicine in Art. It was extremely interesting and taught us to look at art from a 'diagnostic' point of view.
